Ok so Civitavecchia is the closest port to Rome. And by close it's either a 3 hour bus ride or a 1 1/2 hour train ride. If I took the train there I would have had to come right back withou getting off...SOOOO I went for lunch in Civitavecchia instead. Talk about a ghost town, my goodness. The thing about Italy is that everything closes down between 1 and 4 in the afternoon. Not very convenient when thats the only time I have off! So we had to settle for alot of window shopping...and when the sign in the window says "Everything 50% off" but it's closed...very depressing!

Last night was Crew Idol...oh my...it should have been called Phillipino Idol...boy do they love their karaoke. It made for a fun and interesting evening though!

Not much else to say about Civitavecchia....as I said, it was a very quiet town.

Just got back from the craziest wedding ever....
How the heck would you pronounce Civitavecchia without having to pause between each syllable?!?! lol
