I just can't leave Vienna. I am in love with this city...the people...the spirit! I don't want to leave. In fact, I have been forbidden to leave by several people here (it is nice when the feeling is mutual!) So, I stay. This trip has changed so much, that this is not a surprise! I said I would allow things to happen as they should and this city has called my name loud and clear. I am going to have to leave on the 12th of August now....I must go back to London...and I have plans for a few weeks (The Netherlands being one of them) Anytime I have secured a couch, I don't back out of my commitment...so, I must leave. But, that gives me almost 2 1/2 weeks here. There is so much to see in Europe...but, even more importantly to me is connecting with people and learning about new cultures and ideas. Plus, to be honest, financially, it is killing me to travel every 3 days...the dollar is not so strong over here and trains are not so cheap. So, for many, many reasons, I stay. My host is the best host ever, we are forever connected. Plus, I "ran into" someone I already had met in Switzerland and she and I have bonded. It is like this city wrapped its loving arms around me and I melted. So, I stay.
