According to my notes, the house my dad lived in was at #18 3 Maja. My dad remembered a brick wall with glass on top, which I think was right across the street. He also said something about a courtyard in the building and living in one of the apartments back there. I can't remember so will verify later.

Running out of battery don't know if all pics will upload. Will clean things up next time I get a charge and internet access.

Enjoying your daily blogs Curt! Have printed this one up for my mom, she will be thrilled! Their house was the one straight back, lower left corner aparetment of the building, house to the left is where our great grandparents lived, from both Opa and Oma's side..Kleine Oma und Grosse Oma as our parents called them...in english Little Oma and Big Oma...lol...enjoy your European adventures!!

So did they live in the yellow building? And, little and big Omas lived in the small, one story building next to the courtyard? This is too neat!!

yes Kitty, little building to the left is where the great Oma's lived and the big building in the center/back of the courtyard is where Oma, Opa & their kids lived, in a lower unit left side......
