Where I stayed
Baumgartner Camp Ground
The first part of my trip did not include the girls. Just Courtney here. I went with my mom Lou and stepdad Kerby, aunt Treva and uncle Jerry, dogs Mocha (who was not feeling so well and yesterday died in her sleep due to kidney failure) and Libby. We drove about 3 1/2 hours to a campground above Anderson Ranch resevoir, where we set up camp. The campground had a hotspring pool to relax in every evening and morning. We brought our ATVs and took a ride up to Iron mountain, but didn't quite make it to the lookout, because one of the ATVs was not running properly. It was absolutely gorgeous, regardless of our carbon footprint. We played cards, hiked, ate like kings, made smores, soaked, and enjoyed eachothers company. Something my extended family has not gotten to do for quite some time. I love the countryside and want to go back soon.

Family Fun
Courtney,
We miss you already! The camping sounds fabulous, sorry to here about the loss of your family's 'best friend'. Can't wait to here about your trip as it progresses. You aren't missing a thing at U of O, except the Olympic Trials and they've had some great things happening there. Have a wonderful trip, girly!

Hi Ladies
It's great to hear from you ladies. The pictures are beautiful, everything sounds fantastic and I am so... jealous. I'm here dealing with school and work (uggg). We miss you back home, but are very glad to hear you are all well. Hope you all have an amazing time, it sounds like you are off to a good start.
Love,
