last day in Ludlow (Wednesday)

Linda had egg deliveries to do around lunch and through the afternoon. We set off late morning and stopped at Pool House and managed to catch Louise in. Robert was off making hay and they couldn't get hold of him, Louise showed us around Stone House - they are doing a major renovation there and it is completely gutted. It was fascinating
I still find it hard to visualise what it will look like. Took lots of photos.

Off to Ludlow and a bit of shopping for me while Linda did deliveries. turned up to Aunty Freda's to find that instead of eating the chicken we had bought for her dinner she had ordered fish & Chios again!! The look on her face was that of a very mischievous little girl!

Shopping & exploring in Ludlow in the afternoon until Linda had finished her business. On the way home we called in to see Robert - lovely to chat with him again. Just a short visit as Linda had a hair appointment.

The boys came in and there was frantic calling around trying to locate some parts for their hay- bailer that had broken down, Linda made scones for her hairdresser & I just blobbed. After Linda went I dozed. When she came back she mad a light tea for us (just egg & salad), I wasn't feeling great & went to the table & could hardly touch my dinner. Lay down feeling worse s the evening went on. Dozed & slept. When Dave & Linda went to bed I was too scared to go up, my stomach felt so awful & I wasn't going to attempt that steep twisty staircase if I had to hurry down it. Good decision as I eventually threw up. Spent the night on the sofa in my clothes. Woke feeling better but not quite right. No idea what brought it on.

Linda & Dave were both kind & concerned & supportive.

Thursday dawned with the prospect of a 2 hour car trip.

Great that you had a look around the farm & met Louise, boys & Robert. Can't visualise how Stone House will look either! We always called in there to visit family there during our stays in UK. It will be a very costly venture to re-build from inside! Luv, Mum & Dad xx
