Here are some photos of Larry painting one of his fabulous old car paintings and Deb working on pansies from some fresh plants that are now in my garden.
I told Larry that he'll for sure have to paint a Deux Cheveaux - kind of the French equivalent of the VW beetle, but it only has 2 horsepower! They are a French institution. Larry does a terrific job painting cars, one of his passions. (He also loves bulldogs). Both he and Carol ( his wife who is going on the trip, but still no photos!) enjoy painting their grandchildren, and Larry likes painting people. You can see that from his painting of the little girl's swim birthday party. Love the gestures he has captured.
Deb was painting the gorgeous purple pansies. Can't wait to see how she finishes it. She has such a soft touch. I'll have to take a photo of the pansy that I painted. I added a golden spider web and even worked in a little spider dangling from a golden thread.
Carol has been creating hand made doll for a couple of years. I can't even explain how magnificent they are. I'll work at getting a photo of Carol and her dolls!
There is also a painting of Karen Mueller, who is going to travel with us by reading the "blog." She was working on her crocus Easter card in class - vibrant!
Enjoy!
