Little did I know that when I took these photos while visiting our friends in the region of "La Creuse" France, May 2008, that I would be returning in 2010 with several art friends to paint. These are photos of the guest house, gardens and countryside where we will be able to live and paint for 7 - 8 days. On top of enjoying painting "plein air" together, we'll have the extra joy of spending time with our host/hostess, my dear friends, Nicole & Gilbert.
We're going back at the same season of the year so I expect to see similar scenes.
Nicole's garden has reflections of Monet's garden - the French know how to create gardens and naturescapes with a postage stamp plot of ground, or hectaires as is the case with Nicole & Gilbert.
The guest house we'll stay in - Chezemma, is the lovely old stone house with the periwinkle blue trim. Can't wait to paint that in my travel journal!

Jerie: These are wonderful. I really enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for shairing these with me. Your really getting good with the computer
Thanks for the pictures, the house is so quaint and the garden lovely. I like gardening more than painting, at least in the spring.
Jerie, you are a real PC specialist, creating a blog site with links to your friends, congratulations. We have nearly completed a wonderful trip to our family and friends sunny in South Africa and will be back in hillsdale end of this week. We wish you great success in your planning of such wonderful trip and we are sure you and your friends will enjoy it greatly.
Love also to Steve from Elizabeth and Karl
