Our hotel in Venice was really gorgeous. We got there pretty late
because GT had never been there before, and Jase was busy talking to
him so forgot to tell him where to turn, so we made a bit of a really
big circle. But first, something about what happened on our way to
Venice. First, we stopped at this really scenic viewpoint for a few
pictures and then stopped in Innsbruck for lunch. I kind of wish we had
more time to look around, but it took us a good 10 minutes to walk from
the coach park to the old part. Most of us went to the American Embassy
(McDonalds, or Mackers for the Aussies) because it was quick. But I
think they had two groups there, so it was crowded. Like the rest of
Europe, they have World Cup Fever. In the McD's, you can order a
McItaly, McHolland, McAustria, McFrance, or McSwiss depending on the
week. That week happened to be McItaly, so they also had fried
mozzerallla with marinera sauce inside.

We met Jase back at
the Golden Roof where he was going to walk us back to the coach. We had
to walk through the park to get to the lot. So we're walking, all
following him. Well, he was too busy talking and missed the place where
we were supposed to laeve. So we're just walking, thinking he knows
where he's going, then he stops, walks back and tries to find his way
again. We finally get to the bus 10 minutes after the bus was supposed
to leave. We get on the bus, and GT is just sitting there with Sarah
and Peter, who we had passed. THey were mailing postcards, so they were
just going to run over after they sent them. Well, they got there
before us.
