The wedding of the year

We left Sotogrande on the 20th July to return to the UK to partake in and enjoy Andrew and Harriet's wedding in Somerset. We decided to drive to Santander and take the ferry rather than running the whole wy back home through France.

The road to Salamanca and then onto Santander was fantastic - light traffic, good weather and some fantastic 'cruising' music on the ipod.  We travelled back seperately to bring both the cars home and arrived safely in Santander in time to have the dogs vetted before checking in for the journey back. Fortunately the weather and winds were kind and our crossing was smooth, even the dogs were relatively comfortable, when out of their kennel.

The wedding was glorious, the bride looked beautiful and all the bridemaids and ushers were quite charming. We had a fanastic time in one of the cottages in the Manor grounds with Debbie's family - the last time that everyone would be together for the year.
