After my adventure on the canal this morning, Ray and I headed off to Ludlow. Sue has to work today so she left around 6.30am and won't be home till 7.30pm.
Lovely day again, so Ray took the MG - sports. Pretty flash, huh? Was nice driving along the country roads in the open air.
Ludlow is a very quaint, typically English village. It just blows me away the amount of history in these places. The other thing that blew me away were the number of dogs that are around. People take their dogs everywhere, walking along on leads, quite happy. Everywhere you looked people had dogs. And they all seem so relaxed about it (the dogs that is!). So different to our country where dogs are kept behind gates and not taken into public places. Ray and I took a tour of the castle, and it was fascinating. Stuff me if as we were leaving a couple walked out with a Weimaraner, the dog had even been into the castle with them. Can you imagine that happening in NZ?
