Plans for today were to meet Inigo and Jaione in Malaga around 1pm ... but sleep sounded so good ... so we didn't connect until 3:30ish.
A late start to the day had us exploring Malaga's annual August Fair. Its a huge event with lots of drinking, live music, drinking, food, and ... drinking. :) Its not a great environment for families. I mean, don't get me wrong, the kids and us had a blast, but the event itself is geared towards young adults who want to drink and listen to music and dance all day. ... The dancing ... so cool! Right in the middle of a street, you will see a couple of people dancing this special Flamenco dance that is unique to this region ... and before long, the entire street is full of couple dancing! Really really neat. Ella is watching with amazement and mimicking all the moves of the women. She LOVES to feel beautiful and dresses and dancing and special hair pieces is right up her alley!
Inigo introduces us to a few types of special wine ... we see a very mysterious pair of feet in an empty alley ... and we enjoy some excellent tea and cheesecake in a nice, albeit HOT, teahouse.
We end the day fairly early because tonight we must pack and clean and get ready for the next few days ... tomorrow morning we leave by bus to head to Tarifa, where we will catch a ferry across to Tangier, Morocco!
