With rain alerts all over the weather predictions, today we decide to swap some of our plans around and journey to Kutna Hora to see the Sedlec Ossuary. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kutn%C3%A1_Hora
This means our first exploration of the city's train station ... turns out to be a bit of a learning curve, but nothing too difficult. On the way to the station, we take the most direct route which turns out to be sort of a sideways entry tunnel ... and saw our first signs of any sort of criminal activity, some druggies cookin'/shootin' ... not pleasant. Didn't feel dangerous, although one of the guys asked for some water from Tracy's water bottle (weird, as the tap here is great) ... we kept walking, my bodyguard/fight alerts went up ... but we were in the safety of the station in no time without incident.
One hour train ride and we arrive in Kutna Hora. You can google Sedlec Ossuary if you want more info, ... its a church decorated with bones. Cool story. ... all these sights reminding me again of the great book Pillars of the Earth (can't wait to go watch the miniseries when I get back!!).
The plan here was to take a bus from the Sedlec Ossuary to the main city of Kutna Hora where there would be more sights, but the tourist buses were broke down, and the public buses were detoured because of construction, so we ended up with a 2mile walk in and out of the city.
Saint Barbara Church ... probably the best church I've seen in the whole of Europe.

Today seemed to be the day of friendly Czech children. A little Czech girl played / chatted / laughed with our kids the entire train ride to Kutna Hora ... and in the Saint Barbara Church, a bilingual girl did the same ... ... When Ella forgot her little stuffed animal inside the church, the little girl sprinted after us to return it. So kind!
A nice family meal ... Ella ate a fish eye, after stories of Grandpa Al doing it frequently (and a bribe of $5). Still though, thats brave! I didn't eat no fish eyes.
2 Miles back to the train station ... ... train ride home ... walk home ...
SLEEP!!!!!!!!!
