Tulamben was only a backtrack drive of about 10km. We picked up fuel on the way as I covered the distance in no time. It was nice driving without our bags on (all-be-it small bags).

We got to the dive centre and within 15 mins I was off diving with an English guy and a crapy dive ' master ' - there wasnt much masterous about him, disterbing the poor creatures, hitting them with his stick, turning them over - a really crap dive master. BUT the dive, and the Liberty are amazing! The best wreck dive I have done easily (I have only done 2) BUT I saw 2 Pigmy Sea horses, A large trumpet fish just when I was snoorking, a huge barricuda, a giant parrot fish, some really cool nudibrancs and a massive schoal of snappers! Quite a dive!

And the wreck its self is massive, a huge US boat which was torpedoed by the Japanese, originally saved on the coast but then pushed into the sea by a volcano eruption and the whole thing is covered, every inch by coral - very, very nice.

Then I snoorkled with sus for an hour which was also very nice as I free dived down a fair way to check out this and that - it was nice but not as good as the diving -  obviously!!
