Junin De Los Andes as I stated in the previous entry is the point to leave for Lanin. We arived late and pitched our tent illegally by a river. There were thousands of mosquitos but it was a good site with fresh running water. We arived here at 9pm just as the sun was starting to dip. It gave me chance to eat a great burger and have a scout around for a good spot for the tent which was hidden enough before the sun went down. The site I picked was in between 2 rivers and the only way to get over it was up a really sharp bridge and then cross a stream on a wonky bit of mettle - fun for me - not for Sarah. As soon as the sun set we set up tent and slept.
1st thing in the morning we successfully crossed the obsticle course walked the 7 blocks to the centre and straight onto our bus to the Lake where we would camp the night and our base for exploring Lanin.
