Where I stayed
Merimbula
We took the coastal route from Murramarang to Merimbula and passed the most beautiful coastal scenery on the way. Lots of amazing bays and beaches with no one on them - heaven! And the sea was the most exquisite turquoise colours. The photos are of many different bays that we passed – honestly!
We detoured for a stop at Tilba which was again like going back in time but so restful to see the old buildings so well preserved and thriving – very pretty!
Stayed in a lovely hotel with a wonderful room but a little out of town. However we were able to walk across the road to the Golf Club and have enormous steaks, gin & tonics and wine for the equivalent of under £40 – best value yet and great views over the golf course!!
