We arrived at Bali airport and took a taxi straight to the hotel where we still had a two hr wait till we could go into the room and outside was already roasting. Just when we got the keys to our room my cousin Ronald arrived who had flew in from Holland to spend week with us. It was great to see him and the goodies he brought :)

After getting changed and a quick snooze we went to the hotel restaurant for some lunch and into the pool  after some chicken sate. That evening we had a walk to Seminyak for dinner and went to an Italian recommended by some of Ronalds friends.

Next day we organised our boat transfer to Gili Trawangan for the next day and walked around Kuta and late afternoon we went to Jimbaran beach for a nice sunset dinner. There are loads of pretty restaurants on the beach and we picked one and after a few Bintangs the boys picked their seafood for on the bbq and I had some chicken sate. Enjoyed a few hours just looking at the sea and good company.

When we arrived back we sorted out our accommodation on Gili and as soon as we went to bed I started feeling funny and was up most of the night with what I later found out was Bali Belly! Not fun at all!

Next morning I felt to rough to travel so we delayed Gili by a day while I recovered. Stu started feeling crappy during the day as well and in the evening Ronald and I had dinner without him while he slept it off. Had dinner at the loveliest place called Cafe Bali which is one of the cutest places I'd ever been. But still feeling crappy I didn't have much of an appetite but they had krokketten so couldn't pass that up!

Next morning we got picked up early for the boat to Gili T. It took about and hr and a half and when we arrived we really did feel like we got to paradise!
