After getting lost trying to find the park we finnally made it and we were surprised at how nice our accomdation was. We didn't know what quite to expect! It's Dan's dads trailer, he let us borrow it for the day, it's a full size thing with a living room, kitchen, bath and 3 bedrooms
. Despite the gloomy weather we had a little bbq of hamburgers and sausages. We joined Dan's family of Aunt's,Uncles and cousins in the club house for a game of trivial presuit. I wasn't much help because it was a UK version, but I did get a couple of questions right! Anything involving America and the whole table turns to look at me !! One of my questions was "How many times is the words "United States" mentioned in the National Anthem? The answer is None! Bet you didn't know that huh. Anyway, the whole family was great, they were all so friendly and we laughed and drank the whole night.
Then we went back to our place and I got Katie and Mathew doing some hip hop and irish dancing!!
In the morning we woke up and we all pitched in to help make a traditional English Breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, toast, beans... it was so good we did a great job!
We were supose to be up early and get out to Whales today but we were delayed because Dan took Katie's car key's on accident. We drove for about 2 hours and got to Welshpool. We stopped in a little town and the boys went to a pub to watch some soccer match and the girls went to a tea house for some traditional tea and scones but they were out of scones so we settled for chocolate cake instead. Then we walked a mile up to the castle , a beautiful walk with big green hills and wildlife all around. We saw squirrels, deer, a cow, a spider and rabbits. The castle was closed but we didn't care, we were all castled out since Windsor, so we just took some photos.
