Rio de montahna is a rafting place located in the mountains east of Belo Horizonte. The camp itself was lovely (except for all the biting sandflies) - great views of all the mountains, and really peaceful. Plus we were the nly ones there. I went rafting for the first time here, and really enjoyed myself! The guides were very professional, although we had to learn all the instructions in Portuguese as they didnīt speak English. At the end of the rafting, we were all given some yummy honey flavoured cachaca to warm us up, and then we spent the rest of the day chilling by the pool...with the obligatory caiprinha!
