I owe Caleb a GIANT "Thank You"! He decided to do some homework today in anticipation of our upcoming trip. We had planned on seeing Rise Against in concert while we were in Munich. We both like Rise Against and we both would love to go to a show while on a different continent. So I went online the other day to get tickets. I guess Rise Against is kinda popular over there too, because tickets were sold out. Very sad. I guess Caleb wasn't gonna go down without a fight. He did the research and found out that Silverstein is gonna be in Munich while we are there! Well...we had to make a small adjustment to our schedule in order to be in Munich on the same day. But its an adjustment that is well worth it. So instead of getting more beauty sleep tonight, I went online and bought our tickets. That way we are sure to have tickets. This fulfills my dream of going to a show in a different country. Not only that, but it will be my 5th Silverstein show. I saw them open for Hawthorne Heights a while back. Then I saw them twice on Warped Tour (mind you, this was before Warped Tour totally sucked). Then I saw them headline at SOMA. Funny thing was that A Day to Remember opened for them. At the time ADTR was a relatively unknown band that had an "all new" sound. That should tell you how long ago that show was! So Munich will be #5. And just over a month after that will be #6. They are headlining Take Action this year and its coming back to SOMA. Basically, by mid-May, I'm gonna be partially deaf. Totally worth it!
