Scott and Kelly live in Mermaid Beach, Queensland, which is on the Gold Coast. It is such a cute coastal town, and they live a few blocks from the beach. We walked along the beach and visited a few neighboring areas. The sand is light and fine, which reminds me of my good ol' Surfside Beach, SC. It is nice to have a home away from home.
We had our first barbie tonight. Scott barbecued steaks and corn. We also had sweet potatoes and salad. It was delicious! Looking forward to many more barbies, mate!
