We arrived in Nadi, Fiji at 5:30AM on Thursday August 12th. It only took us 5 hours to fly from Charlotte to LA, a 4 hour layover in LAX, and a 10 hour flight from LA to Nadi, Fiji- but we made it! Shane always says it is "just a days travel" but this trip was a bit more, considering we lost a day flying over the International Date Line. We left the US on August 10th and arrived in Fiji August 12th- never getting to see August 11, 2010. Some say we will get it back when we return to the States but that is not true. Our return date will just be the LONGEST day ever since we will leave NZ on November 18th and arrive on the US east coast on November 18th. Either way this should be the most exciting next few months, and this is just the beginning!
