Wow, another wierd place, lovely people, but priorites are a bit screwed up.
I sat my US Drivers test here, that was an experience, I picked up a pool car drove it for a week and then the boss decided I should really drive it legally so I went to sit my test, so 1 week into driving un-insured on the wrong side of the road in the first automatic car I had ever really been in in my puff, I sat my test, Eyesight - OK, Knowledge - OK, fifteen minutes before the test reading some bloke 15 year old daughters book and voila I am doing my actual test. I am driving for 15 mins and come to the wierdest junction I have ever seen (or didn't see would be a better discription), just a huge wide road! So I am about 5 yards from the Stop sign and the woman instructor who kept talking the whole time screams STOP!!!!! So I bring the car to a nice controlled quick stop and the woman said to mein a rather heated voice "Did you not see that stop sign!!", I looked her right in the eye, lied through my teeth and said "Yes of course I did" in the most non confrontational voice I could, we continued back to the station and I got passed, LOL.
Caldwell is the home of the Kolache - apparently although I am sure that there are lots of hick villages who are home to the Kolache, Yum Yum, strawberry tart whatever. They have a Kolache festival there every year, wow I bet that is pretty cool, fun for all the family.
I did however have the biggest steak in my life there and to be honest it was the medium small on the menu, it took up the whole plate (and it was a big plate), I couldn't finish it, and I am not the worlds smallest eater.
