Left Pattaya at 8am and traveled to the Cambodia Thai border by taxi. Arrived at border and man with crippled hand was pestering us asking if we needed taxi at the other side i kept ignoring him but stevie being stevie was very trusting and excepted him offer to take us to the hostel. The bloke did take us through the border with out a hitch except we got ripped off again because stevie started talking to a bloke and he sorted out the visas and we paid 1000baht each instead of the normal $20 and then Stevie gave him 200 baht for nothing. Anyway bloke with funny hand was ok and we got to the hostel ok except for the bumpy horrible roads which made the driver door keep flying open and stuff kept falling of the parcel shelve. The roads were covered in water and really dusty the windscreen in the car was covered with dirt and don't know how he could see. It was 130km to siem reap it took 3 hours with the driver doing about 60mph.

The hostel is really really nice with a pool and relaxed atmosphere. the people are really friendly and stevie has a tag along already. Just stayed in the hostel and got pissed in the pool all night Having really good time so far.

Siem Reap was a really nice city with loads of restaurants and bars went to a cool restaurant with a crocodile pit.  The night market was very good and nice and peaceful and we got a bottle of whiskey with a snake and scorpian in it. Went out on the piss with the guys from the hostel, stevie found a bar you could smoke weed. When we got back to the hostel everyone was pissed playing with the snake and scarpio good night. (see pics)

Angkor Wat was amazing its huge and took us all day to walk round. One of the temples was very high and was like climing a cliff face but the views from the top were amazing it was hard to get down but the little girls selling postcards showed me the easier way down running all the way. Went out for Food and had a camboidan BBQ with ostridge, Kangaroo, Snake (i dont recommend) and crocodile was good fun as you had to cook it yourself and a small BBQ in the middle of the table.

We went on a day trip to the Tara as you got free drink all afternoon and got to watch the sunset on a boat out on the lake. On the way we visited the floating Village which was fasinating as in  wet season the whole vally floods and there is 8,000 people living on wood huts on the lake. They have 1 gas station, shops, 3 schools, 3 karaoke and bars with pooltables. As its the start of the wet season  the valley is not flodded so they all moor up on the river, Using the very dirty water to get washed, drink, brush their teeth with and shit in. As we were traveling up the river all the small kids were waving at us, jumping in and out of the water and playing around. It was nice to see children having so much fun instead of on the street selling stuff.Got to the Tara boat and the lads all shotgunning cans of larger showing the cambodian guide how, making cocktails and watching the sun set and tunderstorm. On the way back in the dark down the river we sat on the roof of the narrow boat were we realised they all had TV and big sound systems. When we got back the driver had disappeared and all the kids living along the river bank came to see us begging for 1 dollar. "hey lady, 1 dollar" Was totally amazing everyone really drunk especially stevie.
