Big triangular fortress along the Danube. Built in the 1400's, with many sieges between the Serbians and Ottomans, it was not badly damaged until WW2 when the Germans used it to store ammo, which blew up in a massive explosion in 1941 which wiped out much of the southern wall and the city, killing about 2500.
