The weather improved marginally during the course of the day, but right when we reached the only really visible glaciers, we were running late for our booked sitting for dinner. Fortunately, we had a table by the window so we still got to see them.
After dinner, we sat in the Crooner's lounge listening to the pianist/singer and watching the endless stream of snow-capped mountains and waterfalls passing the window until we went to bed at midnight as the ship docked at Whittier - and it was still daylight!
