Up early again and out of our hotel in Lake Louise. The plan - to check out the area and make our way to Banff/Canmore where we'll be staying the next two nights.
First stop - the lake itself. Much clearer and calmer than yesterday afternoon - glorious.
Next - Moraine Lake - also frozen over and quite beautiful.
Then - the Lake Louise gondola. Actually we took the ride up and back in an open chairlift seeing as the weather was good - so the views were brilliant. Photographic proof that Cathy went - she seems to have this fear of heights licked.
More wildlife and beautiful scenery on the way to Banff - then on to our digs in Canmore.
The weather is still holding despite repeated forecasts of gloom.
