Just came back from a work kickoff in Oliva, a beach town about one hour south of Valencia. I have never been down there before, but must say I really liked it (the little I saw). The beach was just fantastic, so I hope to go again soon since both my flatmate Vincent and work colleagues Antonio and Montse got apartments down there (hint, hint). I don't have any raving stories to tell, we just spent our time eating, drinking (at the very cool Oli-Ba-Ba beach bar), mingling as well as playing on the beach. We also went sailing, something that gave me flashbacks to Lady Kiss and The Bay of Shame. The sea was a tad bit calmer this time though.

On Thursday July 13th I am off to Norway for a couple of weeks vacation. I hope to spend a lot of time with family and friends, as I realize I have seen very little of them over the last three years. Well, I guess we could maybe even say over the last 11 years, as I haven't lived in Norway since July 1995. Considering it's not long since I spent 15 months down in Latin America, I plan to spend most of this years vacation in Europe. So unfortunately there won't be many exotic blog entries from far-flung destinations this year. What will happen next year is of course a totally different story.
