I just found this short article about my travels called South America on a Shoestring.

If you've wanted to visit Latin America on a shoestring, Norwegian traveler Steve Nabseth's travel blog gives a very detailed rundown of the costs associated with each country he visited during his year-long backpacking trek. Very detailed. For example, in Venezuela, one can buy beer for 40 cents, and in Honduras, an advanced open-water PADI scuba diving course and three dives will run you as little as $229 USD.

I found it pretty funny that they put shoestring in the title. Anyway, although it's the first "article" I have seen about my travels outside Travelpod, I am pretty sure that fame is just about lurking around the corner. Only thing is that it may take a while to find that corner, as it may very well be hidden down on a windswept Patagonian sheep estancia. Well to be honest, I don't expect this blog to take me anywhere, for that to happen I would need to heavily improve and spice up my writing. I have however noticed that blogging is extremely fashion these days, and that many blogs start to get published. I started writing this blog mainly for friends and family to enjoy, as well as a memory and diary that I can go back and look at myself. I must however admit that I have quite enjoyed writing it. I have also gotten lots of good feedback on it from friends as well as people I have never met. Before starting to write this blog I had basically never written anything in my whole life, now however I think I'll just continue blogging. I may even just continue writing in this particular blog, either my travels stop or not.

Christmas Eve has already passed, and New Year is coming up shortly. All has and will be celebrated down here in Argentina together with a few friends. I hope to get back to you with further details in a future blog.
