I woke late today and everyone had already left the house! I spent over an hour of my morning on Skype chatting with people from home! The first half an hour I caught up with Father and Jenny, Spoke to my BFF's whilst they were all hanging out together (Sophie you pisshead!!) and finally had a little chat with Mother before I got up to grab some breakfast and a shower. I didn't really know what to do today. The weather this morning was misserable and I had intended to go out and find an internet cafe so I could sort out my phone but in the end I was too lazy and didn't move!

Instead I've spent my day trying to be productive online. Until last night I had completely forgotten about the fact I would need a holiday visa to get into Australia next week so that was one of my first tasks for today! Only took me 5 minutes to do and cost me £23.50 bargain! Also tried sorting out an IRD number for myself so I can work but think that will be easier for me to do next time I'm in the city and I think I can do it at the AA building again.

Others tasks I've attempted today have been for my end to end walk of the country. I want to make a big thing of this as it's a pretty major thing for me! I'd like to get some sponsorship backing to help me along the way and most importantly I'd like to support a few charities with what I plan to do! I have never ever tried to arrange anything like this in my life before and to be honest I really have no idea of what I need to, who I need to contact of even how to write an official sounding letter! I don't know where to start :S I had a look around at a few charities online that I might be interested in supporting on my walk and attempted to write up a letter to one of them. I sent one email out to a charity today and just hope I hear back from them soonish with something or maybe just a bit of advice would be nice! If I do do get a reply, what ever the answer is either way it should help with my understanding of what I need to do next.

Another big ambition for this trip is to set a world record for walking the entire length of New Zealand so that was my next task of the day! I've now filled in all the forms needed for registration and given my proposal for a world record attempt to Guinness World Records. It doesn't look like anyone has already done this and hopefully I should here back in two working days wether or not my propsall is accepted! If it is I should then be given In the following weeks all the details of exactly what I'd need to do and how to record the data for my walk! Exciting stuff!!

It's now nearly five o'clock and I probably should of gone out today as the sun did end up shinning but oh well! Ness should be home rather soon and I think we have plans for going out tonight!! Well the plan didn't go ahead and I spent the evening in playing music until everyone else was home then relaxed in front of the tv until bed.
