The next day was our stop on Half Moon Cay. Little San Salvador Island, Bahamas (also known as Half Moon Cay), is one of about 700 islands that make up the archipelago of the Bahamas. It is a private island, owned by Holland America Line, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation which uses it as a one-day stop (port of call) for the cruise ships it operates in the region. There are only seven full time residents on the entire islands which means no bars or restaurants. This results in most of the staff on the cruise ship ferrying everything over to set up a Buffet BBQ lunch, a fully stocked bar, deckchairs and cabanas for over 2000 cruise goers. The set up was incredible which meant we could enjoy our day on one of the most beautiful beaches we have all ever seen with waiters providing deckchairs service!! More yummy rum cocktails and buckets of ice cold Bud! Probably the only negative for that entire day was Jenna getting so ridiculously sunburnt, it was actually funny!
