Where I stayed
Highly recommended!! As per the rumors, the Argentinian side of the falls are far more exciting. We did the 3 boardwalks out over the different parts of the falls. Definitely the most fun part of the day was the boat ride out into the falls. The pressure of the water coming down was enough to get us completely saturated (even with full wet weather gear including ponchos and snow pants!!! The boat takes a run up and then smashes its way into the waterfall and gets blasted out out, its crazy! Surely one day the boat is going to get hit by one of the waves in the turbulence and flip, but i guess like most of the great things over in South America, you probably wouldn't be allowed to do it in Aus!
The hostel we are staying at is really good too. The Hostel Inn, once a hotel/resort, is huge. With a big swimming pool, awesome buffet food, ping pong, foosball and pool tables this hostel is up there with the best. During summer it would be a crazy party hostel, but at the moment its pretty chilled... which is for the best, its good to relax after Floranopolis and before Buenos Aires!
