Today Easter Sunday ends the weeks long celebration of the life, death and Resurrection of Christ.  This had been an intense weeks of passions plays, food and celebrating.  There were three bands competing for attention in the plaza one night.  Last night was "The Gloria"  with a three hour mass concluding with a huge fireworks display. The town has been packed with tourist whom many will be off work next week as well for this Holiday.   Here are some of the shots from this week.

Seems to have been fun, we went in Palenque and we think it was more carnival than a religious celebration, noise, and drunk too! We loved yours pictures!!!
