We gave new meaning to the term "FLOWER CHILD" (FLOUR). Today was Ajijic's annual Mardi Gras parade. And keeping with tradition there was lots of flour thrown on EVERYONE! Floats and Bands and Girls(some more feminine than others) on floats. The huge crowd lined the street of Ocampo where the parade began. Although all the advertisements said the parade would start at 10:00 we should have known better. We saw our first signs of flour around 11:20. After the fun filled parade and after eveyone had their dousing of flour and confetti visitors Bill, Martha and Renee joined me and George for a table at Jardin's for lunch. The parade made a u-turn at 6 corners and headed back to the plaza where we got to catch the parade again. The plaza filled with parade goers. Still more afternoon activity and another parade tonight! Should be fun. Enjoy the pictures!!
