. 30 Well dressed and talented brass, clarinet, vocal and precussion hit the stage hard and heavy and didn't stop until around 2:00 a.m. THEN about 2:00 a.m. a few members from the band had a jam session a half block from our house doing traditional Mexican songs with guitar and a few singers feeling non pain until around 3:30. There was a phenonminal trumpet player from the group who NEVER hit a wrong note even at the wee hours of the morning. I do not know how these Mexican musicans manage to play as long and as hard and as fast as they do for such long period of time. They are amazing! .

WOW! What a week. Festval,Carnival, Fireworks, Bands, Singers, Dancers, Parades, AND it is getting more and more intense as the festival continues. Couple of nights ago we went to the plaza and saw a wonder vocal/guitar group in native costumes and had dinner under the stars while this group of about 40 preformed. I got just snippet of a video before the battery went out. Yesterday there was a traditional Thanksgiving dinner here at the house. Just us but we started cooking about 8:00 and didn't get everything finished until about 2:00. Menu included Chicken (turkey too expensive here) Liza's cornbread dressing, Sweet potatoes, Waldoft salad, whole berry cranberry and gravy ( no giblets) but hey?? I had everything for a pecan pie but no pie pan. Oh yeah and not frozen pie shells here either. Had to improvise once again with a cookie sheet but with it's fluted sides worked perfectly!! Stuffed we waddled down to the plaza that evening only to find out the famous Mexican band La Teco would be preforming
