Started the day in usual fashion with Tortillas!! I bought myself a can of iced coffee and half expected the cops to re-appear but obviously they can spot the difference at 100 metres! Police are everywhere here...they even control the traffic where there are lights to do the job frantically whistling and waving cars through- I guess it gives them something to do when theyre not harassing tourists!.
It was hot today and I was happy to spend a few hours cooling off in various museums in the centre! The Zocalo main square is huge and they were setting up for some kind of concert... in the meantime there was a surreal yoghurt promotion going on!
It rains every day here & I am already getting good at predicting when its going to happen- managed to make it into another amazing local restaurant before the heavens opened- the rain was horizontal and the streets were flooded in seconds! Had my first Mole (not the furry creature but chicken in choclate sauce!) which was delicious!
