One of the village teachers is having a party to mark the passing of his parents.  It is traditional here to have a party some time after a persons death but due to the expense not many people do it.  They call it bun gatin or something but I cant find it on the internet - I am sure it is there somewhere !.  I take Jai to the house this morning to help with the preparations.  She tells me that everyone in the village always comes to help but to me it seems like it is always the same dozen or so people every time.
I strat to prepare my documents for my visa extension next week and get photocopies of the relevant pages from my passport.
We get our evening meal over with and are boiling some drinking water when our gas cylinder runs out.  Bike to the two shops in the village that have gas but they have both run out and wont be having anymore till tomorrow afternoon if we are lucky.
