With our rice safely gathered in, Jai volunteers her services to a nephew, Tia, who is taking care of sister Begats farm next door to hers. We bike out to the farm after breakfast and I join in for about an hour but decide that it is best if I dont puch my luck. I leave them to it and return to the house and put my feet up again.
Another lazy day until I go back to the farm in the evening. Jai's son has gone back to Bangkok already. Jai is still working with only Tia'swife for company whilst the chap on the next farm has employed about a dozen people to help cut his rice all in one day. I wait for them to finish the plot they are working on then back to the house a little earlier tonight.
Lie on the bed to watch the Futsal World Cup Final between Brazil and Spain - hard to imagine those two getting to a football final !! Approaching half time it is still 0v0 and bored Igive up and turn the TV off. MUst have got better as I have just seen that Brazil won 3v2.
