Last morning in Khamnadie and we start by packing our bags. I cover the orchids with netting to help keep off the sun a bit and then have a big fire to clear all of Jai's mum's left over coconut tree leaves. I even burn the ripped and sweaty T-shirt as a parting gesture. Take time out for a quick ride around the village before we start to lock everything up. Our pick-up arrives at 19:00 and we drive into Phon Thong along with Jai's son, grand daughter and the devil child from next door. The bus is punctual and by 20:10 we are on our way.
