Out to the farm straight after breakfast to pick up a couple of bags of soil and to collect all of the empty bottles lying around after yesterday for recycling before they get broken and start giving me punctures.
A lone beef tomato appears to have seeded itself from last year so I put up a small frame around it and then find a second one poking through close by. The seeds we had this year have all failed to germinate so at least we will have a couple growing.
Run out of gas midday and have to wait until early evening before someone brings us a replacement cylinder.
