Another busy day in the garden but we have just about reached the point where we can just sit back and watch things grow. I construct a rough frame house around the squash which seem to be thriving and Jai plants out the bigger of the cabbage plants.
I ask Jai to give me a hand splitting some bamboo to make a screen so that we cant see the bonfire from where we sit. Instead of helping she ploughs on and gets the job done on her own whilst I sit in the shade and watch. I told her that I wasnt going to work in the sun mid-afternoon and she couldnt wait until evening so ... job done.
