The 'make-a-monk' party continujes and has been joined by yet another one - oh, such fun !!!
I leave and seek refuge at John'sin neighbouring Pak Chong where I cut another huge pile ofcoconut tree leaves. With Jai there as well we end up staying for lunch and returning to Khamnadie mid-afternoon.
The small dog next door died last night. Whilst we have been here this timeJ ai's brother Sai has had eight dogs and now has only the one left. Some have been sold to the dog catcher and several have died. For a supposed dog lover its not much of a record.
For the past few days I have been keeping acloseweye on severallettuce in the garden that have gone ballistic. The larger isnow about 5ft high and is still producing edible leaves as well as ust starting to o to seed t the top. I have never seen a lettuce grow this tall and it almost has a tree like trunk now.
