Having been kept in the dark and fed on bullshit in my later years at work I should be well suited to knowing all about mushrooms but actually know very little.  On our way back from Phon Thong this morning we stop at a mushroom farm to see how they go about things because we are thinking of growing some in the back garden when we get back here next year.  All looks simple enough but then things always look simple when someone else is doing it.  Will give it a go anyway and keep our fingers crossed.
A little while ago a stray dog starting hanging around by our house.  He would creep in and eat bits of food that are always lying around next door, he nade friends with next doors dogs so shared their food as well and would often sleep in our front garden - unless I saw him first.  Anyway, he is gone now.  Today the dogcatcher came through the village and bought him for a 10bht plastic bucket.  He will now be eaten although there wasnt actually any meat on him.
