When we first built the house I had some rain gutters put on a piece of Jai's brothers roof next door to stop the rain from pouring into our place. The idea was that he would put a water butt under the spout to keep the water. Threeyears later and this still has not happened and isnt likely to. Last year the rain from his roof poured into my back garden like a river and washed a lot of my soil under the wall and into next door. We will not be here this rainy season to handle the repercussions so I am taking the necessary precautions in advance. First thing is taking down thre guttering from his roof. I had told Jai about this a month or so back but she still hasnt got around to talking to him about it hating confrontations of any kind. I borrow a big ladder this morning and twenty minutes later it is down. Whe Jai's mother gets back from her morning visit to the temple she isnt happy about things either but tough watsit !!
