Go to John and Lawans this morning and cut a huge pile of coconut tree leaves for Jai's mother to make into brushes.  It was great fun carrying them home strapped to the bike.
A young lad in the village is becomming a monk today and there is a bit of a party going down.  As part of the party everyone walks around the village with a local band dancing and drinking and generally making merry with lots of noise.  We sit outside the house and watch them pass.
