We head over to Pak Chong about 7:30 in the morning and it is already quite busy. We drop off our donation and a couple of pillows - this is the done thing apparently. I leave Jai there for the day returning home late morning. A quiet afternoon stretched out in the back garden reading before heading back in the evening. During my absence a huge stage has been erected in the next door field and their are fairground attractions - not the band ! - all along the road outside their house. Sit drinking beer with John and George and whoever else passes until the morlam troupe comes to the stage about 21:00. We retire to their upstairs balcony where we have an unobstructed view of the stage - not necessarily a good thing. Stay for the first couple of 'songs' then call it a day. Leaving Jai drinking with her mates I head home and to bed about 22:30 - another late night by my standards here.
