In the evening we get a phone call to say that one of Jai's brothers has been taken to hospital in Phon Thong with heart problems and has since been moved to the city hospital at Roi Et. We bike to a neighbouring village of Coke Lam to tell another brother who has a truck but he is off cutting sugar cane and is unable to drive the family to visit. By the time we get back to Khamnadie someone else has sorted out transport and about 5 of them set off to see how he is. Jai gets back about 23:00 and it doesnt look too good as they had to use electric paddles a couple of times to start him up again. They will know more tomorrow.
