It is very cold here this morning, well, cold for here anyway. Go into Phon Thong on the motorbike and in spite of three shirts am freezing cold on the bike. As soon as I get back to the village my phone rings and it is the couriers in nearby Roi Et telling us that Jai's visa documentation is ready for collection. Quickly pick up Jai and return to Phon Thong. Catch bus for about 1 hour to Roi Et and the British Embassy, in their wisdom, has given Jai another 6 month visa the same as we have had before.
In the afternoon visit our neighbours farm where they keep a few pigs and fill 5 large sacks with pig manure for the garden. We have been told to go and help ourselves whenever we want some so may become regular visitors.
The flowers we acquired as seed whilst in Laos a few months back are flourishing and even the visiting lizzards love them.
