I head in to Phon Thong about 9:30 to spend a couple of hours on the internet whilst Cliff and Dave drive up to Roi Et from Surin at which time we will arrange a meeting place by phone. I go and do a bit of shopping then ride out to the Roi Et road and intercept them both as they pass. They then both follow me back to the village as an easier option than trying to give detailed directions. The road from Phon THong to Khamnadie is definitely more suited to bikes than cars and I can see that they are both impressed with its condition !!
After something to eat we spend a lzy afternoon sat in the back garden drinking beer with George popping in to join us later.
In the evening I cook pasta for the farang chaps whilst Jai cooks Isaan food for the ladies. For some reason beyond my understanding the chaps eat at the dining table and the girls in the kitchen ?
Come nightime what else can we do except for drink more beer ...
