At 19:15 the lad from next door drives us into Phon Thong to catch our bus which surprisingly is already there and waiting. We walk to our seats and are surprised to find that they are already occupied. The 'hostess' leads us downsatirs to a small compartment with only 8 seats in it and all empty and tells us to take our pick. When the bus leaves we are still the only people here and with our own TV as well it is a bit like being at the cinema and really comfy. The soundtrack is in Thai but as the movie is the A-Team words are not really necessary ! It would have been great to have the space all of the way to Bangkok but when we reach Roi Et some 45 minutes later all of the other seats fill up. It is still a lot more spacious down here ad the seats recline further so hope to get some sleep. Sure enough we have both had a few hours sleep by the time we arrive at our mid point stop at Khorat, Nakhon Ratchasime, at midnight.
