Checked the motorbike out this morning and was surprised to find that it started first time. Rode into Phon Thong, our nearest town, some 15km away. Taxed, insured and generally made the bike legal again for another year. Most people around here do not generally bother with the legalities of having a motorbike but as a 'farang' I am an easy target for police fines unless I am as clean as can be.
Whilst in Phon Thong I buy a new mobile to replace the one that I left in Gloucester.
